Level 2 Certification Portfolio Update |

To better support the TEKS for Advanced Floral Design, the Level 2 Certification Portfolio will now include the following requirement — the four additional designs completed by the student must indicate the design style, the basing techniques used, the focal-emphasis techniques used and a self-evaluation of the design. |

Element of the Month — Size |
|
Size refers to the measurable height, width and depth of a floral design. Designers must choose flowers that fit well within the arrangement and ensure the finished piece is the correct size for its purpose or the environment where it will be displayed. By understanding the element of size, students will be better positioned to master the concepts of balance, rhythm and movement.
